Kokeshi au personnage d'hiver
Beautiful kokeshi with a moving head decorated with a winter character in traditional costume painted on a black background.
These Omiyage dolls filled with poetry and nature were originally made of wood for children and then offered as a sign of love or friendship, also brought back by the Japanese
as a souvenir and small gift from the various thermal regions. In the past, they could also symbolize the wish for a healthy child. These are handcrafted creations that, with the paintings and haikus that adorn them, are an evocation of the beauty of the landscapes and the fascinating culture of the archipelago. This type of Kokeshi is no longer manufactured in Japan today.
